Defeat Communism

All That Is Necessary For The Triumph Of Evil Is For Good Men To Do Nothing

From the Communist Party of Cuba’s Granma International:

Rev. Kinnamon speaks to Raul Castro

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received Reverend Michael Kinnamon, general secretary of the National Council of Churches of Christ in the United States, who is leading a delegation of religious leaders from different denominations on a visit to Cuba.

During the meeting, they discussed working relations between the Cuban Council of Churches and that of the United States, which have joined forces to achieve the elimination of the blockade, the normalization of relations between Cuba and the United States, and the return of the five Cubans unjustly imprisoned in that country.

Also present at the meeting were Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla; Caridad Diego, director of the Religious Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party; as well as Reverends Marcial Miguel Hernández Salazar and Pablo Odén Marichal Rodríguez, president and executive secretary of the Cuban Council of Churches, respectively.

Incidentally Rev. Michael Kinnamon serves on the Council on Foreign Relations – Religion Initiative Advisory Committee with former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright of the George Soros funded Center for American Progress, former New York City Council member and Democratic Socialists of America veteran Ruth Messinger, another DSAer, Peter Steinfels of the Fordham Center on Religion and Culture in New York and two members of President Obama’s White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partne..., Eboo Patel of Chicago and the notorious DSA aligned socialist, Reverend Jim Wallis.

These socialists claim to love “democracy,” but they love Cuban communism more.

I read a book called God's Smuggler, it's about a missionary from Holland who smuggled thousands of bibles behind the iron curtian in the 1950s. The type of churches described in this article are a type of "puppet" church. It's another arm of the government.

People in my own church have said that there are churches around here were the pastors don't quote scripture. Instead they tell the people how they should behave. If you don't go to church, you can't understand just how serious the condition of the church really is.

I started at a Baptist Church a year ago. I hadn't attended church regularly for over 20 years. Part of the reason to go back was based on my son being a self-avowed Communist. In slowly meeting church members, I had disclosed the fact about my son and his 1 year of communist indoctrination (10th grade 09-10) at Louisville's top public high school (Eastern HS) by his Social Studies Teacher (Matt Gillium-An open Communist handing out Soviet flags during class), before which, my son was a self-aware conservative buying his own Glenn Beck "Arguing With Idiots."

During the  meeting of church members, I met 2 teachers  that also taught at my son's school (They also had taught at my high school [Central] in the early eighties). They both kind of agreed on Matt Gillium's communistic ways and talked of his Atheism and opposition to Christianity. One of these teachers ended up as my Bible study teacher and MAN, you are right Rhonda...teaching behavior rather than Bible Scripture. The guy actually would recommend my reading the study guide rather than the actual Bible and seemed irritated if I refused. This guy David, actually accused Southern Baptists of causing Slavery in the USA. I ended up setting this guy straight, complaining to the 'very conservative" paster, who agreed with me, and changing classes.

I'm beginning to see the indoctrination within the church locally and that is very concerning. Locally here, we have a "Progressive Baptist Church," which I may visit just to see the differences in info. I'm sure they are for all progressive talking points including separation of Church & State.

It's a type of persecution of the church, anyone that don't go to church won't believe that it's happening, bucause it gives the appearance of allowing people to worship, when in reality, GOD is far from it. I go to a Baptist church as well. It's a small congragation, but Gods word is taught. We focus on a relationship with Christ.

Read the book Gods Smuggler, by Brother Andrew. When he first went to Yugoslavia, and Checoslavakia ( where's my stupid spell check) the churches seemed normal, but after a few visits, he began to see the real condition of the church. It scared the crap out of me, we're almost to that point now. This was back in the 50s,  we still have a few good churches left, if your lucky enough to find one. It took this mans story to help me realize just how close we are to being totally communist. In the book, he had mentioned that Cuba was the hardest country for him, because no one was the least bit interested in hearing the gospel. At the end of the book, he said he was going to teach Muslims the gospel, he believes that most of them are a peaceful people...... We won't even go there, we both know better.

I hate to say it, but with what I've seen so far, most of the churches not keeping true to God's word and being sidetracked, are probably also the ones with largely democratic voters in the congregation, as their party is basically inline with all agendas associated with tearing down the church (Or eliminating God from it). These people are the "Useful Idiots" that Lenin spoke of that mix "socially acceptable" behavior and following the Ten Commandments. Eventually, the Ten Commandments will be forgotten as people practice the more "socially acceptable" behavior.

IMO-Being socially acceptable and speaking God's word do not mix. I think one should follow God's word and the Ten Commandments 1st and being socially acceptable should come second. Back in the days of our founding fathers, social acceptance and people living under God's wishes were much closer to the same thing. Of course, I know you 'get' that. :-)

I will try and get a copy of that book, it seems very interesting. I praise people who risk life for God's word.

Luckily, my new Bible study class makes me feel the word of God, rather than a human lecturing his own propaganda and revisionist history.

Yeah, I've seen socially acceptable..... I think I'll pass. Never been one to follow the crowd.

If the majority of America says they believe in God, Why does it seem that no one is standing up for Him? People at work know I go to church, and only once in a blue moon does anyone ask me a faith based question.

Gotta go, son left stuff at school. Have so much more to say, but can't keep it straight to put down in words. TTFN
